Merv Gilbert, Ph.D., R.Psych.; Organizational Health Psychologist
Dr. Gilbert has worked as a leader and psychologist for over twenty years. He has provided clinical and organizational services in both private and public settings. He has provided assessment and treatment services to adults, children,
and families with a range of concerns. he has been in senior management positions, where he was responsible for personnel selection and supervision, fiscal accountability and program planning, and delivery.
Dr. Gilbert has served in professional leadership roles at regional, provincial, and international levels. He is active in teaching and research, and has consulted, published, and lectured extensively. He has skills in the development and
implementation of best practice interventions, training, evaluation, and knowledge translation and transfer. He currently provides consultation to individuals and organizations on a variety of workplace health and productivity issues. He
holds academic appointments at Simon Fraser University and the University of British Columbia, and serves in an advisory capacity for various not-for-profit bodies including Co-Chair of the BC Psychologically Healthy Workplace Collaborative and serves on the BC and Global Business and Economic Roundtables on Mental Health and Addictions. .
He is also a senior consultant with the Consortium for Organizational Mental Healthcare (COMH), a research centre within the Faculty of Health Sciences at Simon Fraser University.

Bob Acton, Ph.D., R.Psych.; Organizational Health Psychologist
Dr. Acton has over twenty years experience in assessment and intervention, human consultation, training, research, and business development. He has served in a variety of positions in health-care and in the private sector. He has presented international, national, and local presentations on resiliency building, conflict management and emotional control, and has written a number of articles for professional and public journals and magazines. His area of expertise is conflict management and mediation.
Dr. Acton has conducted health-care agency evaluations, consulted to both large organizations and medium sized businesses, and has been actively involved in training professionals. He has worked with and coached people from many walks of
life, including corporate executives, managers, professionals, entrepreneurs, and corporate employees. He is a College of Alberta Ethics Investigator. He is a member of a number of professional organizations and is the Calgary Chair of the Psychologically Healthy Workplace Committee for the Psychologists Association of Alberta.

Our Team
Sylvana Leclerc, BPE, CEP; Health and Wellness Consultant
Ms. Leclerc has over 20 years experience in workplace health providing leadership, program development, training, coaching and evaluation to North American corporations ranging from 20 to more than 16,000 employees. She specializes in helping companies develop effective healthy workplace strategies and coaching employees on implementing these strategies. Her work has lead one company to two consecutive Alberta Premier’s Healthy Workplace Awards.
Ms. Leclerc is a regular presenter at local, regional and national conferences. She holds several Advisory Board positions and is a member of the Canadian Healthy Workplace Council and the Calgary Health, Work and Wellness Network. She holds a Bachelors degree in Physical Education, specializing in Preventative Health and Wellness, from the University of Alberta, a Certificate in Adult Education from the University of Calgary, and she is a Certified Exercise Physiologist by the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiologists
